Secondary school Mittelschule Kapfenberg-Stadt boosts Gaming Disorders survey in Austria

The EU project Gaming Disorders addresses excessive gaming among secondary school students and seeks to reduce its negative impact on learning outcomes.

As a first step, online surveys and interviews were conducted with students, teachers, parents, sociologists, psychologists and game designers in Cyprus, Germany, Ireland, Portugal and Spain! In cooperation with project partner Auxilium, the extremely supportive management and teachers of the Styrian Mittelschule Kapfenberg-Stadt made the survey a great success in Austria!

The next step will be to process and analyse the data from all the countries which results in a report with all the findings and recommendations on how best to equip school staff to identify and prevent gaming problems to be published after the summer break at https://gamingdisorders.eu.

Stay tuned ... the game has just started!
